About the role:
This person will be responsible for manufacturing Cabinets and shop fittings for the commercial and domestic market while maintaining high quality standards throughout the manufacturing/ assembling and installation process. You will start as an on-hired employee working 38 hours per week plus over time when required and the right person will have an opportunity for an ongoing role after successfully completing a probationary period and pre-employment checks.
Duties:
- Work unassisted from plans and drawings
- Select correct materials for cutting list
- Cabinet assembly - end to end process
- Onsite installation - Fitting cabinets, hinges, draws and other hardware
- Perform quality checks at the end of every job
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Experience in Cabinet Making / Shop fitting
- Hand and power tool experience (Own hand tools required)
- Ability to work automatously and in a team when needed
- Positive attitude with a keen eye for detail
