About the company
Our client is a local steel fabrication business, which primarily services the building and construction industry, but also provides finished goods for engineering and infrastructure projects across the state.
About the role
- High volume of structural steel work and welding
- Use machines such as manual cut-off saws, punches and guillotines to complete jobs
- TIG and MIG welding
- Rigging duties as required
Skills and experience
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a boilermaker
- Have a current rigging ticket
- Proven structural steel experience
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Current driver's license
- Pass a drug and alcohol screening, including on-site random testing
The successful applicant must be fit for physical and manual work, committed to safe work practices, be reliable, able to get to and from work and pass a drug and alcohol screening, including on-site random testing.
