Carpentaria Contracting operates throughout Far North Queensland, in particular Weipa.
We are currently seeking Electricians for Permanent roles to undertake residential/domestic and industrial work across a broad application within our Weipa based operations
The successful applicant will hold the following current Licences / Qualifications and be willing to apply their skills across a diverse application of domestic and industrial electrical work:
- QLD Electrical Licence - Unrestricted
- Manual Class C - Drivers Licence
- Construction Induction Card (White/Blue Card)
- First Aid - CPR/LVR
Desirable:
- S1 - Apply risk management processes
- Working at Heights
Those who have High Risk Work and Machinery Licences will be highly regarded.
This is a NOT a FIFO shift work position, applicants must be willing to relocate to Weipa. A 12-week probation period will apply and single person accommodation will be made available (flights included). Consideration given to subsidised family accommodation at the completion of probationary period if applicable.
