Engineering People are a staffing solution company specialising in the engineering and technical field.
Our Australian owned client is expanding, they are currently recruiting for an afternoon shift CNC setter/operator join their already established team. In this role you will be responsible for setting and operating predominately Fanuk controlled CNC machinery from workshop drawings.
To be successful in this role you will need;
- To be experienced in setting CNC machinery.
- To be experienced operating CNC machinery.
- The ability to read and interpret workshop drawings.
- An ability to work in a safe manner.
- A positive attitude and the ability to learn.
Candidates who have the following will be highly regarded;
- Fork lift licence
- Understanding of CNC programming (any level of competency)
The role is based over 4 days, shift times for this role are 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM Monday to Wednesday and 3:15 PM to 11:15 PM on Thursday to make a 37.5 hour week.
