Tier 1 Facilities Services company is seeking HVAC Service Technicians to join their small Data Centre team and assist in the critical service, maintenance and breakdowns of all HVAC and Mechanical equipment. This company will provide junior technicians with the training and support required to become a data centre technician and career progression and development opportunities to all staff.
This role is working shift work across on a static site located in the Sydney CBD. The shift will consist of 4, 12 hour days on followed by 4 rostered days off. An understanding of the requirement working in a critical environment would be beneficial however not essential.
The Role:
- Attending to all maintenance, servicing and breakdowns of HVAC, central plant, CRAC units, critical power systems, UPS & DC power distribution, BMS monitoring and backup generator testing
- Working 4 days on and 4 days off - 12 hour shifts
- Training provided to technicians with no data centre experience
You will Possess:
- Qualification HVAC / Air-Conditioning or Refrigeration
- Experience working shift work (desirable)
- Experience working in commercial environment or data centre previously
- Strong understanding of working within a critical environment
