What role are we talking about?
Are you sick of doing the same thing every day and are looking for a challenge? If so, stop standing under a hoist and changing oil and filters each day and try your luck as a Forklift Mechanic.
Being a Field based technician, not only do you get to plan your work day to suit yourself, but you will also have the opportunity to troubleshoot and service a different truck each day.
You'll have the opportunity to work with our great customers, providing them with high quality service you can be proud of, and if they like your work and your team meets the set budgets, you could earn a $100 (gross) bonus on top of your wages paid.
This is what you do
- Fault finding and troubleshooting.
- Attending breakdowns and performing service work.
- Completing scheduled services.
- Daily workload management.
- Deliver a professional level of service at all times.
- Complete an average number of calls per day.
- Maintain an accurate service diary/time sheet record of work performed.
What we look for
- Prior servicing, diagnostics and hydraulic experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of mechanical/electrical systems.
- Mechanical Trade Certificate (Forklift Mechanic/Diesel Mechanic/Automotive Electrician/Heavy or Light Vehicle Mechanic).

Flights and accommodation will be covered and not only do you get the chance to learn, but you'll also get to meet some of our other new Service Technicians from across the country and in your free time, you can do what you like.
You'll also be getting a pretty sweet hourly rate, with plenty of overtime to increase your earning potential, you get to plan you day as you like while making sure our customers are serviced, and you get to work with and meet some pretty cool people.
