1st/2nd year Apprentice 

We are a busy Carpentry team who specialise in custom and high end residential builds all over Melbourne. Our focus is framing however all aspects of Carpentry are put to use on our projects.

At MBDC we are a small team who aim to work hard together everyday in a positive team environment where we take pride and ownership of our work.

About the role

• Monday to Friday minimum 38 hours at various sites across Melbourne occasional Saturdays
• Paid weekly industry award (as per stage of apprenticeship) rate + Super + Overtime
• You will learn all aspects of the trade on site with constant mentoring and practical application of all units you will complete as per your Cert 3 in building (Apprenticeship over 4 years)

The ideal Candidate

This is a serious opportunity to become a quality Carpenter and work on some big  projects in a team environment and start your successful career.

The person we are looking for will be genuinely interested in learning the trade, reliable and hardworking. Given the nature of our projects we want someone who puts in 110% in everything they do and have a willingness to learn and be apart of the team.

Most of all we want someone who is passionate enough to complete a 4 year apprenticeship who turns up early everyday and is happy to stay back from time to time to get the job done.

- Will see out 4 year apprenticeship

- Arrives early to the job

- Will work back from time to time and very occasionally Saturdays

- Own Transport or way to meet locally

- White card, construction induction training
