About the business and the role
Our Holden, HSV, & RAM dealership is a leading new and used car dealer located in Mackay, Queensland. New Pioneer Motors is the only 100% locally owned and operated dealership in Mackay, and proudly so for over 25 years. Due to an increased workload we are now seeking fully qualified Motor Mechanic for an immediate start. If you have a genuine passion for Automotive, this is the job for you!
Perfectly located on the doorstep of the beautiful Whitsundays, our region offers a great lifestyle to all. Mackay is a short 1 hr flight north of Brisbane.
Job tasks and responsibilities
A range of diagnostic, service & repair work scheduled from Monday to Friday. Fix it right the first time, and quality workmanship is our main focus.
Skills and experience
To be considered for the position:
- Must have full Automotive Technician qualifications.
- Hold a open manual drivers license.
- Have a focus on quality workmanship.
- Work well in a team environment.
- Be able to work unsupervised.
- Diagnostic and scan tool knowledge essential.
- A/C and Roadworthy ticket would be advantageous.
- Holden dealership experience would be preferred however not essential and we encourage all good technicians to apply.
