We are looking for multiple concreting crews in and around Melbourne perform footpath reinstatement after NBN underground construction has taken place. Construct formwork for concrete construction of roads, footpaths, Kerb and gutters and vehicular crossings.

Apply construction techniques for laying and joining of pipes and associated drainage structures. Screed and level off asphaltic concrete prior to rolling.

Maintaining Small Plant & Equipment Ability to use small plant and equipment such as footpath rollers, jackhammers, and concrete saws. Ensure all small plant is adequately maintained and serviced. 

Other Duties

• Undertake duties of a traffic controller to ensure efficient traffic flow and safety of workmen and road users is maintained.
• Undertake work to ensure that Occupational Health and Safety requirements are implemented.
• Work to Set Levels. Other duties that may be directed by the Civil Works Supervisor / Team Leader.
• Contribute to improved customer service and organisational effectiveness by acting ethically, honestly and with fairness. Undertake physical operational works as required.
• Relieve and/or assist staff in other areas of the Operational Department

Skills & experience

• Full Aussie work rights 
• Past experience in the reinstatement of footpaths, and walkways, and kerb & channel.
• LR or HR truck Licence or higher desirable
• Traffic management ticket would be great
• White card
