Cabramatta Rugby League Club offers great facilities that include: 5 Bars, Keno/TAB, Gaming, Bistro, Coffee Shop and Rugby League Stadium. The Club provides services to approximately 10,000 members, with a compliment of 60 staff.
The Club is just on the cusp of beginning our next phase of redevelopment. Our goal moving forward is to be a premier venue of choice to patrons within our immediate and extended area.
We are seeking to appoint a full-time Maintenance/Handy Person to be responsible for completing general maintenance work around the Club. This is hands-on role will ideally suit a tradesperson or handy-person with experience across a range of maintenance roles.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be experienced in minor electrical work, plumbing, plastering, painting, furniture moving
- Ideally have a Trade qualification
- Be able to coordinate & supervise contractors as per the Club's maintenance schedule
- Have good communication skills
- Have a customer service focus
- Be able to contribute well to a team
- Have a good knowledge of/and be able to implement WHS practices
- Have good time management skills and be able to prioritise workloads
- Have good problem solving skills
- Be able to use your initiative
- Hold a current full Drivers' Licence
- Be flexible to work varying shifts as required
