Veolia is now seeking a Energy Services Technician to join our team based in the Canberra area. Reporting to the Energy Services Manager, you will lead and provide exceptional support as part of a professional HVAC team.  You will be responsible for conducting service and preventative maintenance.  We are looking for a reliable and efficient individual who will build a lasting and trusting relationship with our team and customers.  We are seeking an experienced individual with a strong customer focus and a great work ethic. 

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Management of maintenance and repairs with team and providing the frontline manager with technical support on product issues and delivers on the job training for techs or provide advice on the training needs of the team.
  • Conduct HVAC/Controls service and preventative maintenance on commercial buildings
  • HVAC installation works
  • Diagnose faults and provide customer solutions
  • Perform breakdown repairs
  • Critical Environment sites  
     

 To be considered for this role, you must have: 

  • Qualifications in the Air Conditioning trade 
  • A current ARCtick license and valid driver's licence                     
  • Experience and sound knowledge with a variety of HVAC and Controls systems on commercial, retail, government projects.  A strong customer focus and work ethic and ability to provide a consistently high level of building maintenance across all facets of fixed plant and equipment.              
  • A solid understanding of a variety of Air Conditioning principles and systems and ability to provide a consistently high level of building maintenance across all facets of fixed plant and equipment.                 
  • Pride in delivering quality service for your customers                       
  • An interest in finding solutions and solving problems  
  • The ability to build excellent relationships with your customers
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
