In the role of the Air Conditioning / Refrigeration (HVAC) Technician, you will be responsible for the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance on the Company's Sydney contracts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain heating, cooling and refrigeration equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools
- Ventilate equipment and controls making sure they operate efficiently and continuously
- Maintenance work on cooling units.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions
- Inspect and maintain refrigerators and chilled water supply systems as required.
- Inspect and maintain the BMS
- Adhoc duties as required
COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 + year experience in a similar position
- Trade licence (highly desirable)
- Able to respond quickly to change and adopt a flexible / innovative approach to problems and opportunities
- Must present well, have great communication and customer relation skills
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Australian Citizenship in essential due to the nature of the contracts
- Current Drivers Licence
- A current Defence pass (highly desirable)
