The Personnel Connection is a boutique Recruitment agency who supply both permanent and Temporary staff to our clients across Sydney since opening in 2000.
Our client is one of the major suppliers of access and in-room technology to the hotel industry Australia wide.
With the expansion of their service division they are seeking the services of three service technicians to be based out of their Hornsby Office.
These positions would be ideally suited to someone from any of the following industries:
- Locksmith
- Photocopier/fax
- Carpentry
- Electrical
- Any room automation experience will be highly regarded
Reporting to the Service Manager you will be responsible for technical repair, maintenance and installation requirements throughout Australia ensuring customer's expectations are met. All tools required, including mobile will be provided to perform any required tasks.
To be considered for one of these roles you will need to have the following:
- Previous technical experience with effective troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Sound mechanical knowledge
- Good understanding of electro-mechanical systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
The successful applicants will be required to demonstrate
- Field service abilities including the handling of technical queries from clients over the phone
- Excellent customer service focus
- The ability to travel
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Willing to take on-call rosters
- The ability to work autonomously
- The ability to follow instruction both verbally and from plan documents including schedules, building plans and installation instructional documentation
- Well organised and show effective time management skills
- The ability to report well on tasks performed
Salary will be based upon individual's skills and experience; full product training will be provided.
