Whyalla Feedlot is an integral part of NH Foods Australia, situated 25km north west of Texas on the Queensland–New South Wales border. Purchased in 1988 the site was constructed to 50,000hd and through expansions over the years, current capacity is 55,000hd with a license for 75,000 hd. Using advanced technology, Whyalla Feedlot is one of the largest feedlot operations in the southern hemisphere. Recently named Feedlot of the Year 2016 our team proudly places high priority on animal welfare, workplace safety, and quality.
The position;
- Permanent, full-time
- Immediate start
- Roster – 10 days on / 4 days off
- Paid based on the award
Seeking candidates with;
- Recent experience with machinery and agricultural manufacturing
- Experience with light fabrication and welding
- Trade qualifications
- Own car & licence
- A great work ethic with a focus on safety
- Agricultural or feedlot experience highly regarded
