A great opportunity exists for you to join the Pickles team as an Auction Floor Staff at our Belmore branch.
The Role
Jump start your career and join the team at Pickles, Australia's leading marketplace, as a Motor Vehicle Mechanic at our Belmore branch.
Reporting to the Branch Manager who has been with us for over 18 years, your major responsibilities will include:
- managing vehicle inspection and mechanical repairs
- issuing roadworthy certificates
- working on approximately 20 vehicles a day
- delivering outstanding service to all vendors and buyers
- following all WH&S policies and procedures and maintaining a hazard free environment.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- full Mechanical Qualifications
- current Pink and Blue Slip licence
- a current driver's licence
- safety certificate accreditation
- proven customer service skills and experience
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- competent MS Office skills and the ability to learn our user friendly auction system
- ability to maintain quality standards and meet deadlines
- self-motivated and flexible
