The Role
Reporting to the Workshop Controller, some of the key responsibilities of this role are to:
- Perform mechanical diagnosis, repairs and service of vehicles and equipment. Vehicle fit up.
- Use and apply knowledge, training, technical and personal skills to carry out work allocated,
- Foster and promote the Scania product and carry out work on a win/win (Scania/Customer) basis on a clear understanding, of the customers requirement
- Participate in the Scania Assistance Roster and as required,
- Attend to vehicles at the roadside or on customer's premises as part of Scania Assistance,
- Foster and promote a safe and healthy work environment with Company safety policies and procedures
About you
- Qualifications and previous experience is essential. The ability to work unsupervised, be self motivated and have strong communication skills are also essential.
- Preferred Scania / European Truck experience
- Computer skills with experience in a Microsoft Windows environment
