MSS Security is currently seeking customer-focused individuals who would like to join our team here in Canberra. Working as part of the MSS Security team in Canberra, you will have the opportunity to work in one or more of the following areas:
- Concierge/commercial building security;
- Access Control;
- Directing and escorting visitors;
- Monitoring CCTV;
- Visitor sign in/induction;
- Maintaining Key Registers and issue of keys;
- The identification and reporting of building maintenance issues; and
- Conducting foot patrols both internally and externally.
To be considered for a position in Canberra you must:
- Be an Australian Citizen;
- Have at a minimum a Certificate II in Security Operations;
- Hold a current First Aid certificate;
- Hold an open driver’s license and own transport; and
- Be willing to obtain an Australian Federal Police, Defence or other Government Clearance at the Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) level or higher.
Additionally, you must:
- Be dedicated, reliable and committed to security;
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Enjoy working with customers and have superior customer service skills;
- Have a high standard of presentation and grooming;
- Be computer literate;
- Have the ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment; and
- Have superior integrity and sound judgment.
