This is a hands on role in a busy environment therefore you need to be able to work well under pressure.
About the role
- Adherence to and ensuring that all electrical systems of the site are functioning in accordance with the site preventative maintenance plans.
- Tag & Test all electrical equipment & systems
- Ensure regular preventative maintenance checks
- Apply safe work practices to all tasks
- Diagnosis using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the issue
- Liaise with contract production employees
- Maintain effective communication with management and the production team
About you
- Must hold a full electrical license
- A working knowledge of automation and control systems including AC drives, motor control, PLCs & associated components
- Proven experience in a continuous production environment
- Experience in diagnosing breakdown issues and correcting and applying preventative methods
- Prior experience in preventative maintenance planning highly desirable
- Any experience with SAP would be an advantage
- Available to work night shift
