Cristal Mining Australia is currently recruiting for an Electrical Technician to be responsible for the maintenance, service and repair of equipment at mineral separation plant in Broken Hill.
The role is offered on a permanent basis, Mon-Fri, 40 hours a week with a rostered 'on-call' requirement
The Role:
The Electrical Technician will be responsible for the following:
- The safe and efficient maintenance, servicing and repair of plant equipment in accordance with Cristal’s stringent procedures and operating instructions.
- Minimising downtime through accurate fault finding, investigating and determining repair actions.
- Installing and commissioning modifications and design changes to control and electrical equipment in accordance with Legislative standards.
- Using the company computer system to obtain spare parts and complete any documentation/reports as required.
- Isolating plant and equipment for maintenance purposes.
- Be available for call-outs as required.
About You
To be successful in your application you will need to possess:
- An Australian Electrical Trade qualification
- An Electrical Licence
- Previous mine site / fixed plant / heavy industry experience
- Availability to attend call-outs
- A dual trade Electrical and Instrumentation would be advantageous, but is not essential.
