THE ROLE

This role involves service and repair of both new and used equipment in the workshop and field in an efficient and timely manner. The role will be based in the Western district. A heavy workshop vehicle will be supplied.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Diagnose and fault find machinery for repair, maintenance and service
• Carrying out major services on site and field work
• Ensure that machinery is repaired and serviced in a timely manner
• Compliance with the relevant OH&S requirements is mandatory
• Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and promptly
• Servicing machinery under warranty

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Must have accredited trade qualification in relevant industry
• Experience in earthmoving and construction industry 
• Sound mechanical knowledge
• Be a self starter with great time management skills
• Efficiency and knowledge in servicing and repairs
• Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures
