In this role you will be responsible for day to day home maintenance including all home amenities, maintaining inventories, caring for equipment and performing the home preventative maintenance program. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication and customer service skills, attention to detail, but most of all a compassionate and respectful approach to our residents when working in their home.
This casual position is based at our Sirius Cove Aged Care home in Mosman.
To be considered for this position you must meet the following criteria:
- Hands on understanding of building maintenance work and procedures
- Ability to determine when qualified tradesperson is required
- Flexible and innovative approach to problem solving
- Eligible to work in Australia
- Full ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence
- National Police Check Certificate
- Neat and tidy presentation
- A helpful, positive, empathic and patient attitude
Desirable attributes:
- Trade Qualification
- Experience in a similar position within the Aged Care or Health setting
- Understanding of continuous improvement principles and Occupational Health & Safety Principles.
