WesTrac are offering the following Apprenticeships for commencement in February 2019:

  • Heavy Vehicle Mechanic – Mobile Equipment (Bunbury Based)

Applicants should be aware that this position may involve the rostering of successful apprentices throughout regional areas on fly in, fly out and/or drive in, drive out rosters across different shift patterns which may include weekend or public holidays.

The competition for our apprenticeship placements is strong;  to ensure that you have the best chance of securing one of these opportunities, please ensure you carefully read the below criteria.

Essential Criteria:

  • Own reliable transport, plus able to work remotely (FI/FO or DI/DO)
  • Ability to undertake roster work and ability to work additional hours above the minimum of 8 hours per day on a 5 days on 2 days off roster

Desirable Criteria:

  • Successful completion of Yr 12
  • Demonstrated work experience in Trade Sector and/or pre-apprenticeship/Cert II pathway aligned to chosen trade
