Bus Driver - State Gov - $40+ PH - Metropolitan and Regional Victoria - 6 Month Fixed Term
Your new company
You will be working for one of the departments of the State Government where you will be tasked with driving round and delivering high quality customer services both in the Metropolitan and Regional Victoria Your new role The Driver is primarily responsible for driving a Small Business Bus (SBB). The SBB is a core program for Small Business Victoria (SBV). Your role will see you driving the SBB’s which are specially-outfitted vehicles; a Mercedes Benz Sprinter van & a Renault Master van - essentially mobile offices - that travels through both metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria, offering free mentoring and information to small business owners and intenders.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience as a Corporate bus driver
- Advanced driving skills including a good knowledge of Melbourne metropolitan and regional areas and demonstrated experience operating a Mercedes Benz Sprinter van, Renault Master van or similar large vehicle.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other team members and service providers to deliver exceptional outcomes.
- Availability to work hours as necessary, including in the early morning and late evening, and sometimes on weekends and public holidays.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel.
- A high level of professionalism.
- Must possess a current full Victorian Drivers’ Licence.
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa
