We are seeking a passionate, reliable and a responsible person to join our team as an Environmental Project Officer within our Landscapes division.

The Environmental Project Officer position is responsible for land management outcomes in accordance with contract specifications to achieve desired results, and accurate completion of reports.

You will also be responsible for maintaining company’s tools, vehicles and facilities allocated, and utilised on and for the respective work sites.

You will be proficient in plant identification, (weeds & natives), weed mapping, bush fire management, identification of threatened species, and communities.

Have the ability to work independently, and as part of a team using your supervisory skills, and hands on approach, when required.

Essential:

• Certificate IV in Conservation Land Management OR
• Degree/Diploma in environmental related discipline
• Excellent plant knowledge
• Current drivers licence
• Knowledge of current environmental legislation
• Australian Citizen

Desirable:

• Chemical handling certificate
• Experience in supervision of staff/managing contractors
• Strong skills in excel, word & GIS
• Current first aid certificate
• WH&S white card
• Certificate IV Training & Assessment
