Due to continual growth in the industry, Boral resources are looking for a field service heavy diesel mechanic/fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will report directly to the maintenance supervisor and will be involved in the maintenance and repair of all mobile plant, including component and machine rebuilds, breakdowns scheduled maintenance and servicing throughout Boral metro quarries.
To be considered for this role, you must have the following qualifications, experience and attributes:
- Heavy diesel mechanical trade qualification;
- MR/HR driver’s licence;
- Proven experience in service and breakdown repairs to earthmoving equipment;
- Good diagnostic skills;
- Ability to work unsupervised and be self motivated;
- Ability to work in a close team environment;
- Good communication skills;
- Good record and housekeeping skills;
- Professional and courteous manner.
