About the business and the role
D&T Hydraulics is a Hydraulic cylinder repair & manufacture business, we require a motivated experienced Fitter to join our Team. Our building expansion is almost complete and in turn require new staff to join us in line with this expansion.
We are a highly reputable business that boasts a modern workshop with excellent equipment and conditions with regular overtime available.
Job tasks and responsibilities
The sucessful applicant will have:-
- Experience in the assembly & disassembly of cylinders and have good knowledge of Hydraulic seals.
- The ability to work unsupervised.
- Diligence with completing service reports.
- The ability to work in a team environment.
- Commitment to safety & quality.
Skills and experience
The succesful applicant will be required to perform the following tasks :-
- Strip cylinders using modern breakdown benches & torque heads.
- Complete strip down reports and identify parts required.
- Assemble cylinders.
- Test cylinders
- Strip & repair Hydraulic valves , motors & various other hydraulic components.
