Specialised commercial design, fit-out and furniture supply company based in Glendenning, seeking the services of a handyman to join our team!

THE COMPANY

We are a specialised design, fit out and furniture supply company founded 15 years ago to provide customers with turn-key commercial fit out solutions.

Our services encompass design, space planning, building works, graphics, custom joinery and furniture supply.  We have established and maintained an excellent reputation and we pride ourselves on repeat business - which we win because we have a reputation for taking responsibility for the full solution.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Project Manager your role will support our make good, de-fit and fit out projects with a variety of tasks and no two days will be the same. You may also be required to work with the furniture installation team as required.

Duties will include:

  • Basic joinery/carpentry.
  • Painting/patching.
  • Demolition of basic internal walls/strip out work.
  • Plastering - small jobs and repairs.
  • Tiling - small jobs and repairs.
  • Landscaping - basic tasks.
  • Commercial facilities maintenance work.
  • Defects rectification work.
  • Furniture/workstation assembly.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • At least two (2) years experience in most of the tasks described above under the role requirements.
  • Own car and current driver's licence.
  • Clear communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a team or unsupervised.
  • Knowledge of WHS requirements and obligations.
  • Current White Card
  • A positive, can do attitude!

Salary dependant on experience and a travel allowance will be provided.
