About the Role
Embedded within Broadspectrum, Skout solutions is a temporary labour provider for the organization as a Joint Venture with Randstad. Broadspectrum are currently looking for a mechanical Trades assistant to start ASAP to join maintenance team on an assignment at the Defense Base Wallangarra assisting mechanical tradesman on a full-time basis.
What you will be doing
- Physical labour, manual handling, moving materials and other ad-hoc tasks around the site
- Preparing site & Site clean-up
- Assisting with the preparation of tools for tradesmen
- Using hand tools and power tools
- Confined space entry and pump maintenance (training provided)
What is required
- Previous trades assistant experience. 1 year- mechanical/electrical trade assistance is preferable with a construction white card and Forklift ticket
- A commitment to OH&S practices
- Dogman ticket is preferable but not essential
- Current drivers licence
- Rights to work in Australia and ability to pass a defense clearance
