Each day will be different in this varied and diverse role! Working for a well-known local business who provides sales and service of equipment and components across Tasmania, you will join a busy and focused team offering the opportunity for growth and development in a niche market.
The main focus of this position is to provide outstanding customer service with installation, service and repairs of diary machinery and feed systems.
Ideal candidate will have the following qualifications & abilities:-
- Trade qualification (Mechanical Fitter is ideal but not essential)
- Previous experience with diary systems or water pumps
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Able to work autonomously with great time management ability and strong organisational skills
- Highly analytical, good problem solving ability, initiative and able to think outside the square
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing technology and workload
- A strong eye for detail
- Current and clean drivers licence is essential
Other responsibilities may include welding (tig, stick & mig), electronic and low voltage fault finding installation and replacement.
Working Monday to Friday - 38hrs/week as well as participating in a rotating on-call roster of approx 1-3 call-outs/month including weekends (overtime). On the job training will be provided.
