Your new job
As Maintenance Fitter this position is responsible for the reliable and efficient operation of factory and co-packing machinery.
- You will be working with a variety of automated and semi automated equipment and will manage the operating, maintenance, repair and efficiency projects relating to this equipment.
- An important part of the job is managing product change-overs and preventative maintenance schedules, actioning them to maximise equipment performance.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed as a Maintenance Fitter in this role, it is key that you can demonstrate strong mechanical experience in an automated environment.
- Trade qualifications as a Fitter are essential and tertiary engineering qualifications are advantageous.
- Extensive experience in the process or packaging manufacturing environment; experience with automation such as bagging, case packing/erecting, conveyors and experience with multi head weighing equipment, bag and box packaging will be an advantage.

Located in North-West Sydney near the Hills District, this is day shift position that offers excellent work-life balance with a 4 day week. The Maintenance Fitter role will work 6am - 4pm on 4 days between Monday to Saturday, with 50% loading for the Saturday shift. This is a great company to work for, and there is a bonus incentive for all employees.
