ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is a large, and well respected, vegetable grower, that has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their team on the Mornington Peninsula VIC. 

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• working on tractors and machinery based on the farm
• perform on-going maintenance on process machinery in the packing shed.
• Greasing of bearings and bushings
• general preventative maintenance.
• Day shift (6:00am-4:00pm with overtime as required)
• Mon – Fri (with the occasional Saturday shift)

REQUIRED SKILLS, PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES  AND EXPERIENCE:

• Diesel Mechanic Qualification (Australian Recognised)
• Minimum 2 years post trade experience
• High focus on Safety  
• Advanced trouble-shooting skills
• Hydraulics and pneumatics experience
• Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work unsupervised
• Company focused with a can-do attitude
• Available to work on weekends if required
• Able to work as part of a team
• Flexible to work various shift times
