A Permanent Full-time position based at Clyde in Sydney available for a Skilled Operator or Track Worker

The Opportunity:
 
My Client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Rail Worker to be a part of our Major Works Team. This position plays a key role in the inspection, maintenance and repair of track, drainage and Right of Way as assigned to your team by your Supervisor.

The work is rewarding, primarily outdoors and will involve working in all kinds of weather at various times of the day and night, seven days a week in different environments. At times you will be required to work across the rail network as required by the head contractor

We are seeking applications from individuals who possess skills in plant operation, maintaining a safe working environment have previous experience maintaining track and rail, experience working in high-risk environments and have the ability to undertake heavy manual work. A current driver’s licence is required and the below qualifications are desirable:

• WHAO1 Hand signalling Certificate
• PO02 – Protection Officer Class 2
• Maintain and Certify Track
• Track Vehicle Operator 
• Track Machine Operator - Heavy
