About your new role
Wilson Security is the leading provider in the provision of security services across Australia and New Zealand. As the Regional Security Manager – Defence (WA), you will be responsible for People Leadership and operational performance of security services at Department of Defence sites within Western Australia.
This position is an important conduit of information from our client to our work force and effective, clear and concise communication skills are a must. Therefore, the applicant must be able to provide visible leadership, mentorship & direction to all personnel with a coaching & training focus.
The successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen, be able to complete a personal security vetting clearance.
About you
To be successful you will have:
- Extensive experience at a senior level managing multi-site teams, preferably within a similar industry
- Exceptional People Leadership skills with the ability to drive and motivate performance through effective coaching skills
- Ability to manage and develop a positive and productive management team
- Demonstrate a strong Commercial acumen with the ability to work at pace to deliver on contract KPI’s whilst maintaining outstanding outcomes
- Ability to analyse data to identity trends and influence business decisions
- Well-developed communication skills with the ability to build and maintain robust working relationships and networks
- Sound judgement and decision making under pressure
- Ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders and manage competing priorities
- Previous experience managing underperformance, through a performance management framework
Whilst previous security experience isn’t vital, the position will be awarded to the candidate with a clear ability to manage large contracts, ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness are maintained at a high level, in line with the Performance Measurement Framework, set out by contract parameters.
