MSS Security is seeking dynamic, enthusiastic and customer service focused individuals to work at Moranbah Airport in the role of an Aviation Protection Officer.
As an Aviation Protection Officer within our team at you will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all our customers, and you will also build strong relationships with your internal stakeholders.
Your primary areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
- Superior customer and client service skills
- Passenger screening & checked baggage screening
- Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders
- Record incidents as required
- Ensure specified service levels are maintained
- The ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment
- Ability to make sound judgements and work safely adhering to MSS Security and Client policies and protocol
The successful candidates will demonstrate the following personal/professional competencies:
- A strong customer focus. Candidates from a retail and hospitality background will be highly considered
- Certificate II in Security Operations
- Currently hold or willingness to obtain a QLD Security Licence
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Drivers Licence
- Ability to obtain an ASIC
- Computer literacy skills
- Flexibility in work hours including working up to 12 hour shifts / rotating roster
- The ability to work across a seven day roster
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- High standard of presentation and grooming
- Dedication, reliability and a commitment to security
