- Must be able and willing to fully comply with Code of Ethics of Interpreters and Translators
- Must be professionally trained or have practical experience in interpreting, and preferably NAATI-accredited
- Must be able to speak English fluently
- Must be well-presented (for interpreters)
- Must possess good communication skills
- Must be reliable and easily contactable
- Must be eligible for ABN, if you do not have one, and must be residing in Australia
