THE OPPORTUNITY
As part of Ampcontrol’s continued growth, we are looking for a self-motivated and hands-on high-voltage (HV) electrical operations or service manager to lead and grow our new Northern Territory HV Field Service operations.
As a member of the Ampcontrol Northern Operations leadership team, you will drive the performance of the NT business and be given the opportunity to play a key role in the continued success and growth of Ampcontrol around the globe.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Managing the NT HV Field Service operation in its infancy, your key focus will be to:
- Build the business from an organic start that is sustainable for the long term;
- Grow and manage an expert team that has a strong culture toward operating safely;
- Undertake business development of the Ampcontrol HV Service offering across multiple industries, including industrial, government, utilities and mining;
- Develop and implement process, procedure, operational documentation to support the efficient delivery of the Ampcontrol HV Service to its customers.
- Play a key role in the development and implementation of strategic plans, annual budgets and business plans.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Critical for this role will be drive, determination and a high level of initiative to grow the business and take it to the next level. In addition, you will have:
- Trade or degree qualifications (electrical preferred);
- Previous experience leading and growing high-performing teams;
- Operational accountability and budget responsibility experience;
- Experience working in a service environment, including tendering and quoting for jobs;
- Demonstrated experience in resolving complex problems – both technical and managerial.
