Scooter Central is Sydneys leading Vespa, Piaggio, Aprilia, SYM, Kymco store and six time winner of Motor Dealer Of The Year.
We sell 400-500 modern scooters and motorcycles each year and have a strong workshop team of five, including three mechanics, a workshop coordinator and spare parts interpreter.
We are actively seeking a skilled motorcycle or scooter mechanic to join our team. The appropriate applicant will have a qualified mechanic license (cert 3) or be a third or fourth year apprentice as a minimum. We're after a tech with experience with 4 stroke engines and the ability of completing tasks as an individual or as part of a team environment. We have a terrific support network and our workshop coordinator is on hand to assist you when called for. You will also have direct access to our spare parts interpreter.
While the successful applicant needs to be capable of working independently, we often combine our knowledge on tougher jobs, and you will get to work as a team to solve problem issues. We use the latest computer diagnostic equipment, and an understanding of ABS, traction control and fuel injection is essential. As a major dealer, we also have direct access to factory supported technical teams, and you will need to be able to converse with this support network.
We do everything from servicing and fault diagnosis, to pre-delivery services and crash repairs, so there is never a shortage of new and exciting work.

The basic working hours are 8:30am - 5:06pm (7.6 hours) Monday to Friday. Overtime is also often available at $48 per hour.
Each day have a total of 1 hour in breaks during the day. We do not open our workshop on Sunday, so there is plenty of time for 'product testing' if you're mad about bikes like us.
