2XM Recruit are seeking an experienced/trade qualified Fitter/Turner ideally with an Electrical appreciation to join our clients team in a PERMANENT capacity.
The role will be starting and interviewing immediately, based South of the river, carrying out component level overhaul on a range of specialized equipment within the transport, freight and rail industries.
The Role
- Component Overhaul, Maintenance and Repair works
- Working on a range of Mechanical equipment with Electrical circuitry/control valves
- Completing maintenance request forms
- Component Warranty repair experience would be advantageous
Experience/Requirements
- You must be a trade qualified Fitter/Turner or Tool Maker
- You need to have a strong attention to detail due to working with delicate components
- Ideally, as a you will have had experience with PCB (printed circuit boards), removal and refit
- You will need to be able to use Microsoft Office and it's basic functions
- Desireable experience would be electrical systems and/or motor rewinds
- Other desireable experience would be an A Grade (Restricted License), but not essential
- You will also need to be able to demonstate good paperwork skills and the ability to use internal systems
- You must be able to pass a Pre-Employment, Drug & Alcohol Test
