We are looking to appoint a full-time Aviation Training and Compliance Coordinator in Cairns Airport. Our Aviation Training Coordinator and team members are well supported through our various best practice training programs from around the globe and our experienced leadership team. Minimum Criteria for the Aviation Training and Compliance Coordinator role

 

  • Excellent Customer Service skills.
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40110) plus TAELLN unit
  • Certificate II in Security Operations and Aviation Transport Protection Qualification (OJT); or
  • AV120613 Passenger Non-passenger Screening and AV120416Checked Baggage Screening Qualification.
  • Ability to interpret and apply government legislation and regulations and to develop and implement policy, processes and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency with the MS Office Suite and excellent writing and reporting skills.
  • Ability to obtain an ASIC
  • Valid Queensland Security licence.
  • Hold an unrestricted Driver’s License and have access to reliable transportation.

 

The Position

 

  • Managing the delivery of APO Training Packages to new and existing employees.
  • Supporting the Aviation Account Manager and onsite management team.
  • Assisting the team during both internal and external compliance audits.
  • Managing the conduct and scheduling of Systems Testing and Inspections.
  • Scheduling ongoing training sessions to ensure compliance with current legislation.
  • Regular review of all training materials to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Providing assistance and support in the professional development of APOs.
  • Management of training files and relevant documentation in compliance with Aviation Legislation.
  • Administration associated with the coordination and delivery of all courses including mentoring, conducting enrolments, assessments, collating documentation and feedback mechanisms.
