About the company
CMV Fleet Management provide tailored heavy vehicle maintenance and management services for major transport fleets, employing over 100 people nationally across 18 sites. We are part of the CMV Group, a South Australian family owned business which was established in 1934 and now has over 1,200 employees across South Australia and Victoria.
About the opportunity
We require experienced trade qualified Diesel Mechanics (not apprentices) for our operations in the Shepparton area (Shepparton and Stanhope workshops).
Duties and responsibilities
You will carry out the service and repair of our client's heavy vehicle fleet to ensure total customer satisfaction in the most cost-effective manner, taking into account time, safety and quality workmanship.
This will involve an interesting variety of trucks, trailers and ancillary equipment, and cover routine servicing and maintenance, diagnostic procedures, repairs, and rebuilds.
Required attributes, skills, and experience
- Formal mechanical trade qualifications - this is essential
- Previous European brand truck experience advantageous but not essential
- Customer focused team attitude with good communication skills
- Reliable with good time management skills
- Willing to work overtime if required
- Commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety
- Current drivers licence preferably MC

Remuneration and hours
Above average hourly rates will be negotiated with selected applicants commensurate with your qualifications, skills, and experience.
These are day shift roles and some flexibility regarding start times.
