Landscaping Apprenticeships - All Year Levels
Location: Brisbane & Gold Coast


All Trades Queensland is currently seeking Landscaping Apprentices, whether you are looking to commence, or continue as a 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Landscaping Apprentice, within the Brisbane & Gold Coast regions.

You will be employed by us in a full-time Landscaping Apprenticeship, earn a weekly wage and be exposed to all aspects of your trade.

As an ATQ Apprentice Landscaper, you will be working towards obtaining a Certificate III in Landscape Construction

Landscape Technicians perform various gardening and lawn maintenance duties in order to turn outdoor spaces into functional or attractive areas. They also maintain residential and commercial landscapes so they remain healthy and trim.

As an ATQ Apprentice Landscaper you will learn to:

• Construct landscaping
• Renew and maintain existing gardens: lawns, garden beds, flowers, shrubs and trees
• Build retaining walls, decks, benches and other outdoor structures - using a variety of materials including brick, block, concrete, wood and metal
• Construct rockeries, paths and ponds
• Operate and install irrigation and drainage systems
• Provide information on plants and cost out projects
• Read landscape plans
• Treat pests and diseases (often using chemicals)
• Identify and correct soil deficiencies
• Service equipment such as tools, lawn mowers and heavy machinery

To be eligible, you must:

• Have a car & licence (to travel to job sites)
• Have completed or are willing to complete a Certificate I in Construction (highly regarded
• Have a passion for being outdoors
• Have an ability to problem solve
• Enjoy variety and a broad range of projects
• Have a keen eye for detail and design
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team
