Our Client, located in Huntingwood, is a globally renowned corporation in providing ship power supplies. They are now looking for experienced Workshop Mechanics to join their progressing team.
You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and overhauling of various engines and engine components within the site workshop
Hours of work:
8am start with plenty of overtime and weekend work available
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Maintenance of workshop machinery and equipment
- Overhaul of turbochargers and fuel injection components
- Fitting, Machining and tool making
- Maintain a clean workshop environment
- Inspection and testing of engine components
- Completion of inspections, testing and service reports
- Compliance with all WHS and company policies and procedures
To be successful for the role you will possess the following:
- Mechanical Trade Qualification or equivalent
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Previous use of measuring equipment
- Good communication skills
- Sound computer skills
