This is an exciting opportunity to take your career to new heights with the market leader in Elevated Work Platforms. Due to unprecedented growth within our Service business, JLG Industries has a position available in Mackay, Queensland for a Field Service Technician.
This position will see you utilize your previous experience within mechanics, electronics, diesel mechanics or hydraulics, preferably from within the Elevated Work Platform or related industry.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Carrying out inspections, servicing and minor repairs of equipment with a focus on elevating work platforms, telehandlers and lighting towers
- Be available to travel including overnight accommodation when requested
- Responsible for completing all appropriate paperwork and inspection forms required by JLG policy, Australian Standards and customer and/or site requirements
- Must be available to work in the workshop at times when no field service jobs are available
- Responsible for notifying the field service coordinator if repairs or services can’t be completed during visit and the reason why
- As a Field Service Technician you are also required to carry out general duties from time to time as requested by the Service Manager
