Leading Hand – Cleaning Services

SEED Parks & Property Maintenance (SEED) employs people who are disadvantaged to provide commercial cleaning and grounds maintenance.

As a valued member of our team, based at our office in Sandgate, you will primarily be responsible for providing staff supervision and training, administration support and the delivery of quality cleaning services on-site.

The position is part-time, primarily working Monday to Friday including one to two evenings per week. Please note you will be required to work outside standard hours from time to time. This may include evenings and weekends.  The position is employed on the Cleaning Services Award 2010, Level 3 based on skills and experience. Applicable allowances and penalty rates apply.

Skills and Experience

• Possess a hands on attitude and experience in working with people from diverse backgrounds
• Previous experience or qualification in cleaning  or business
• Ability to work within WH&S guidelines
• Own reliable transport, current manual driver’s license, police clearance (or ability to acquire)
• MS Word and Excel skills incl. calendar management and office co-ordination ability
• Exceptional  customer service and stakeholder relationship management
• Assistance with contract management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
