Newtons Building and Landscape Supplies are seeking a full-time Pump Sales & Service Technician to maintain and grow a busy department of our business. Newtons Building and Landscape Supplies are a family owned business who require a highly motivated individual to join the team. Established in the late 70's, our business is built on developing strong customer relationships by providing a high level of customer service and this position will be an integral part of our team.

You will be responsible for call outs for pump servicing, repairs and maintenance to existing systems while using your specialist knowledge.

Working with bore water pumps, motors etc used in agricultural, commercial and residential settings will also be required along with the ability to assist with sales of pumps and related products.

Qualifications and experience in irrigation and pump related fields preferred, and a current driver's license are essential.

You will possess the following skills;

• Desire to grow the business by way of specialist sales knowledge
• Proficient knowledge in pump servicing, maintenance and other pumping applications from household, submersible, building services and irrigation
• An understanding of irrigation control systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to meet with clients in a professional manner as a company representative
• Competent computer skills
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team

Remuneration offered will be in line with the level of qualifications and experience.

A fully maintained service vehicle is part of the package.

This position will be based at our Newton Yard.
