About the business

As a Parts Interpreter with the Western Truck Group, you will report directly to the Branch Parts Manager, backed by a dedicated and supportive Group Management Structure.

About the role

You will be responsible for:

  • Inbound and Outbound sales for the Parts Department
  • Processing customer quotes, orders, payments and invoices
  • Deliver outstanding customer service
  • Provide technical assistance and general support to the Service Department
  • Stock Control
  • Ensuring Database entry and accuracy
  • Maintaining efficient warehouse operations and flow
  • Ensure compliance with the relevant OH&S requirements

Skills and experience

Valued Skills and prior experience include:

  • Previous experience in parts interpretation
  • Previous Dealership experience would be preferred but not essential
  • A high degree of dependability, reliability and dedication to customer service
  • Good administration skills
  • Good over-the-counter and phone manner
  • Excellent work ethic, gaining enjoyment from practical and manual activities
  • Strong focus on safety and security of all personnel, equipment and environment
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence
  • Forklift license desirable
