As a Service Engineer you will be assisting customers to maintain those turbochargers in peak condition and at optimum performance throughout their entire lifecycle.
Tasks:
Reporting to the Service Manager, the key areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
• Attending site and perform field work. i.e Breakdown, Preventative maintenance, Install and commissioning. Workshop repairs and service as required.
• Coordinating the preparation and control of all material, equipment and documentation needed for site activities, and organizing them in accordance with contractual and supplemental documentation.
• Conducting detailed inventories and inspections to determine necessary maintenance and repairs. Troubleshooting and repairing equipment, and recommending changes to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
• Ensuring the coordination with the customer for documentation required, safety coordination and planning.
Requirements:
Key requirements include:
• Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter, Diesel Mechanic. Current full Australian License.
• 5 years’ experience in marine/ heavy diesel engine.
• Experience in Service within the Marine industry, specifically with exposure to heavy diesel engine.
