EXPERIENCED CANDIDATES NEED ONLY APPLY

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Use of spraying equipment like backpack sprayer, knapsack sprayer and motorised spraying equipment, calculating rate of application and calibration of chemicals to control weeds, pests and insects.
• Tasks to be carried out in a manner that causes the least inconvenience to customers, staff and the public.
• Operate equipment and machinery in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations and the Sterling NT operating procedures
• Reporting maintenance and repair issues
• Perform all tasks within the policies and procedures of the QHSE system.
• Other responsibilities as authorised by the Directors or the position's immediate manager.

Essential attributes of you:

• Good organisational skills, work ethic and personal initiative.
• Ability to work without supervision in a small team.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise whilst always representing business objectives and to meet timeframes
• Follow the instructions, direction and procedures for safe and environmentally sustainable work practices.
• Property or construction experience desirable.

Desirable:

• Cert III or IV in Horticulture (or equivalent)
• MR/HR license
• CHEMCERT license (or equivalent)
• Current Drivers License, MR/HR looked upon favourably
• First Aid Certificate
• National Criminal History and Working with Children (Ochre Card)
