Our client is an National and Globally recognised leader within in Power Management – Medium Voltage, Low Voltage and Secure Power, and in Security Systems. They provide integrated efficiency solutions, combining energy, automation and software. With excellent products and services and have built up an excellent reputation over the last 30 years.
Due to exponential growth, a not to miss opportunity has risen for an experienced Security Service Technician to join there already well established team in Sydney. This role is for a Security Technician working on the service and maintenance of Alarm, Access Control, Intercom and CCTV equipment.
The Role
- The role is on the road working on newly built constructions projects throughout the metro Sydney area
- You will install security monitoring systems and CCTV
- You will service and maintain existing sites
- You will be on a roster for on call support
- Ensure that product and service promises are delivered.
Your Duties
- Read and understand plans and work orders
- Assess customer site and install and cable the equipment, this includes confined spaces
- Sign off on the work, clean the site and update status with the customer
- Regular maintenance on systems as different components are installed
To be successful you will require the following:
- Current Electronic Security Licence and Cabling License – Essential
- Current Drivers Licence – Essential
- Excellent problem solving, conflict resolution and analysis skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced demonstrated knowledge of integrated security/ access systems including Tecom (Challenger) and Concept and a broad range of commonly used systems, including Hills, Honeywell, Schneider, Siemens etc.
- Knowledge of Gallagher is Essential. ( Gallagher Certification)
- Demonstrated knowledge of IP Networks
- Demonstrated knowledge in a range of analogue and IP CCTV systems
- A team player who professionally interacts and collaborates with colleagues at work;
- A positive "can-do" attitude, flexible and adaptable in a consistently developing environment.
