MAK Industrial Water Solutions is a national water & waste water treatment specialist. MAK Water designs & manufactures a wide range of water treatment plants, and supports its customers with a network of service teams across Australia.
We are an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of water treatment plants, with a wide range of technologies, and a strong future order book for plants to be installed in Australia and overseas.
THE ROLE
We currently have a vacancy for a Service Technician to service water and waste water plants and carry out upgrades at various sites in the Karratha region. The role is residential, based in Karratha, normally working Monday to Friday.
The principle focus is of this role is to deliver quality servicing and maintenance for our customers. Reporting to the WA Service Supervisor, you will be joining a small team in Karratha and:
- Have a customer focused attitude
- Be safety focused
- Have the ability to work independently
- Have flexibility to travel to various site for short durations
- Provide clients the right solutions for their water treatment applications
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant trade qualification (mechanical / plumbing / electrical / water treatment)
- Experience in the water treatment industry desirable
- Have a valid Australian Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Demonstrated problem solving capability and initiative to manage unexpected issues independently
- Ability to work effectively as part of a small, close knit team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Be able to interpret engineering drawings and write service reports
